NY Arts Pavillion Consorzio Cantieristica Minore Veneziana, will opened with a gala reception for press and media on Friday, June 5. The artists and public reception was also held Sunday June 7
With
eight international curators working with a dozen different countries, the exhibition will feature works by over
100 artists and includes new works and on-site commissions in all disciplines dynamically executed on paper. The
curators include Basak Malone and Tchera Niyego from New York, Agustina O’Farrell and Santiago Bunge from Buenos Aires, L.Brandon Krall from New York, Cosimo Di Leo Ricatto from Amsterdam, and Stefano Pasquini from Italy. 
Echoing the ideologies of the 53rd Biennale di Venezia, the NY Arts Pavillion emphasizes the process of creation and discovery. Marked by local and global relationships, aesthetics, and practices the NY Arts Pavilion comments on visual culture in a wider context, than the traditional art fair exhibition.

Exponen 16 artistas argentinos
Un espacio ganado para el arte joven y emergente de la Argentina abrirá sus puertas hoy en el marco de la 53ª Bienal de Venecia. Dieciséis artistas han sido seleccionados por los curadores argentinos Agustina O’Farrell y Santiago Bunge, para participar en la exposición “Works On Paper, A Global Perspective”, que organiza la revista cultural NY Arts Magazine. La exhibición podrá visitarse en el Consorzio Cantieristica Minore Veneziana hasta el 22 de noviembre. Esta muestra está centrada en el trabajo que debe hacer el artista para responder y adaptarse a los cambios políticos y sociales de la actualidad. Para ello, ocho curadores, que han trabajado en de doce países, han reunido más de 100 obras en papel. O’Farrell y Bunge se enfocaron en el trabajo de emergentes y nuevos talentos, quienes a través de su técnica expresan el concepto común del pabellón de NY Art Magazine. ”Creemos que es importante no sólo desarrollar el tema sino la técnica que se elige para expresar un mensaje”, explicó Bunge, cuyos trabajos también han sido incluidos en el pabellón. Acuarelas, grafito, fotografía blanco y negro o en color, aerógrafo o graffiti, “cada técnica tiene su valor y su singularidad”, agrega la historiadora y crítica de arte O’Farrell. Los dieciséis artistas que participan de la muestra son: Ana Bonamico, Andres Gilles, Andres Ghiorzo, Alejandro Montaldo, Claudia Lucini, Iuri Irastzoff, Juani Pavlovsky, Julieta Barderi, Leonardo Pellegrini, Marcelo Linares, Peter Leonard, Santiago Bunge, Santiago D’Eramo, Santiago Llorente, Tomas Ghiorzo y Valentina Cambiaso.
The location of the exhibition on the historic island of Giudecca will transform the island itself, into a visual art
and media nexus for a full 5 months. In conjunction with several Internet projects, the exhibit will offer writers
and viewers the chance to submit essays and comments on the nature and significance of biennials, fairs and
public exposure for new and emerging artists. Works On Paper, A Global Perspective, echoes the position of the
majority of artists featured, as they constantly work to respond and adapt to changing social and political
conditions of the contemporary world.
